OT: Anyone ever have shoulder labrum tear surgery?

About 18 months ago I felt an injury while doing stone work. Finally after 18 months I get an MRI. Partial tear of the labrum. Dr told me 3 small cuts via arthroscopy..... Have no idea what I'm going to do. Believe that is my only option

All I come up with is surgery. Believe it's impossible to fix the tear without arthro.

I have had major Rotator Cuff surgery and Reverse Shoulder Anthroplasty (Replacement)..After surgery make sure you are diligent on doing the rehab. You should be recovered within 3 months

My son tore his labrum in both his shoulders about 4 years ago. I was surprised to learn that this injury is somewhat common. He ended up getting surgery on one of his shoulders, but told me that he regrets getting it as he can't tell much difference between the one that was operated on and the one that wasn't. That's just his opinion. He had to stop playing sports as it very painful with quick, sudden movement. I know it's a tough decision whether to have surgery or not.
